The company was founded in 1999 by Attila Egerhazi.〔(''Releases''. ) Website of Gramy Records, 2011.〕 It is part of the Gramy Group, which includes not only the record label, but also a recording- and film studio, an office for graphic- and web design as well as an agency for advertisement and event management.
Among the internationally known artists, orchestras and bands who recorded albums for ''Gramy Records'' are, inter alia:
